JOJO ROMERO - BIO
I was born in Grenada, raised in St. Croix, Virgin Island where I now call home. I started playing music at an early age of nine, began writing songs at the age of nineteen (19). My music career started with a small band known as New Age. They were a very popular group on the islands.
New Age was the opening act for well known performers: Ziggy Marley, Maxi Priest and 3rd World, etc. In 1992, New Age separated.
I decided to make my debut up north in New York where I started a band call Nightshift and played various places and charitable functions. I have decided to continue my career, by writing, producing and arranging my own songs. In the summer of 2002 releasing my 1st CD known as "Lion Heart". My writing ability is not common in most entertainers that are now making their debut. My writing is very meaningful and passionate.
